Printer  Samsung ML2251N connected to a router D-link DIR-655 (ethernet)  is not visible
Printer Samsung ML2251N connected to a router D-link DIR-655 (ethernet) does not work.Windows 7 x64. Vista from the same PC works with it. Symptoms: - Does not print when setting a local ip address- Cannot connect via http://192.168.0.199 address (works under Vista)Error:The server at 192.168.0.199 is taking too long to respond- Strange ping message:Pinging 192.168.0.199 with 32 bytes of data:Reply from 192.168.0.198: Destination host unreachable.Reply from 192.168.0.198: Destination host unreachable.Reply from 192.168.0.198: Destination host unreachable.Reply from 192.168.0.198: Destination host unreachable.Ping statistics for 192.168.0.199: Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 4, Lost = 0 (0% loss),Microsoft suggests, though for Windows XP:( http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/314067 )This error message means that no local or remote route exists for a destination host at the sending host or at a router. Troubleshoot the local host or the router's routing table.Tried:Change router settings (dynamic/static ip of the printer)Turn firewall off (public and private networks, Windows 7)Thanks.

Hi, This issue occurs if some options of the printer is not set properly. I suggest that you download the user manual from Samsung. Download center for ML-2251NArthur Xie - MSFT
